Woman Nabbed For Allegedly Stealing $20K In Property During Burglary, Greenwich Police Say

A 28-year-old woman was arrested by Greenwich Police after being extradited from Westchester County, on a warrant for allegedly stealing more than $20,000 in property from a home.

Latonia Stewart, of the Bronx, was arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 18, in connection with a burglary in western Greenwich, in which some $20,000 worth of property was stolen, said the Greenwich Police.

During an investigation, Stewart was identified as the suspect in the crime and a warrant was issued for her arrest, police said.

She was charged with larceny and two counts of burglary and is being held on a $250,000 bond. 

Stewart is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 2, 2020.
